Strawberry Poll 2026

Victorian Strawberry Industry Development Order poll

Eligible strawberry growers must vote in a poll this February.

The Victorian Strawberry Growers' Association has petitioned the Minister for Agriculture to continue the Victorian Strawberry Industry Development Order 2014.

Strawberry growers are voting to agree or disagree with continuing this order. If this poll is successful, the order will continue for another 4-year period. This extended order would expire in June 2030.

All voting in this poll is by post. We'll post ballot packs to eligible voters from Friday 23 January. You must return your ballot to us before 5 pm on Tuesday 24 February.

We are required by law to hold this poll for the Victorian Strawberry Growers' Association.

Who can vote

If you are a commercial strawberry grower who has purchased strawberry runners to plant in Victoria, you are eligible to vote.

We receive the list of voters from the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA). You must vote if you are on the list of voters.
