We have also published our first-ever Aboriginal education and engagement plan, Ngabun-Bambunj.

The plans outline how we will work in partnership to build trust and engagement and deliver education that fits the communities’ needs.

Our manager of education and engagement Abigail Elliott said that launching the new plans is an important step toward more inclusive elections.

‘Our democracy will only grow and thrive when all Victorians have a fair chance to vote,’ Abigail said.

‘As custodians of Victoria’s electoral system, it’s our job to find and remove the barriers preventing people from engaging as active citizens.’

‘Each of our education and engagement plans come from years of working closely with Victorian communities and will provide a clear roadmap for how we plan to make elections accessible, inclusive and welcoming for all.’

Each plan is also available in easy read format to make the information accessible for everyone. You can also contact us to request a print version or learn more.
