Party re-registration process concludes

All 16 of Victoria's registered political parties have been re-registered by the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) following a review that required each political party to demonstrate they have at least 500 eligible members.
As required under Victoria's electoral laws, all registered parties needed to apply for re-registration by Monday 28 October 2024 to maintain their registration.
The 16 registered parties are:
- Animal Justlice Party
- Australian Labor Party - Victorian Branch
- Companions and Pets Party
- Democratic Labour Party (DLP)
- Family First Victoria
- Freedom Party
- Legalise Cannabis Victoria
- Liberal Party of Australia - Victorian Division
- Libertarian Party
- National Party of Australia - Victoria
- New Democrats
- Pauline Hanson's One Nation
- Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party Victoria
- Sustainable Australia Party - Stop Overdevelopment / Corruption
- The Australian Greens - Victoria
- Victorian Socialists
