Workshop options
Be heard (full day workshop)
In this practical workshop you will learn how to take meaningful action on issues that matter to your community. You will:
- learn why community leadership matters
- learn strategies to influence decision-making
- practice ways to raise awareness about issues
- build confidence to talk with government representatives and policymakers.
Be informed (3 hour workshop)
This shorter workshop focuses on the different levels of government in Australia and learning how to vote. You will:
- learn how democracy works in Australia
- understand the roles of local, state and federal government
- learn how preferential voting works
- understand your rights and responsibilities as a voter.

Workshop details
Our workshops are flexible and interactive. They can be run on their own or as part of a leadership program.
They can be tailored to suit different learning needs, making it accessible and relevant for diverse communities.
Our workshops are best suited to groups of 12 to 20 people.
