Voting closes soon for Whittlesea City Council by-election

The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) is reminding voters in Whittlesea City Council, Thomastown Ward that they have until 6 pm Friday 29 May to vote in the by-election.

'You need to post your completed ballot pack before 6 pm on Friday 29 May, noting clearance times may vary,' Election Manager Maureen Gee said.

'You can also drop your ballot pack off at the election office located at 109 Yale Drive, Epping before 6 pm on Friday 29 May.'

Any voter who still hasn’t received their ballot pack should call immediately on 131 832. The election office will be open with extended hours on Thursday 28 May until 8 pm and on Friday 29 May until 6 pm.

Voting is compulsory for all voters who were on the roll for this election at 4 pm on Wednesday 18 March. Voters who don’t vote may be fined.
