Kim McAliney is the new representative of Wyndham City Council's Heathdale Ward, after a by-election was held to fill an extraordinary vacancy.

Ms McAliney was among 3 candidates standing for the by-election and will represent Heathdale Ward on Wyndham City Council until the next council general election in October 2028.

Election Manager Colleen Kopelke declared the result at 10:30 am on Thursday 13 August at 45 Princes Highway, Werribee.

The extraordinary vacancy happened due to the resignation of Councillor Jennie Barrera.
