Donna Nicholas is the new representative of Greater Bendigo City Council’s Lockwood Ward, after a by-election was held to fill an extraordinary vacancy.

Donna Nicholas was among 8 candidates standing for the by-election and will represent Lockwood Ward on Greater Bendigo City Council until the next council general election in October 2028.

Election Manager Mandy Cooper declared the result at 3 pm on Friday 10 April at The Capital, 50 View Street, Bendigo.

The extraordinary vacancy happened due to the resignation of Councillor John Mcllrath.
