New councillor for Latrobe City Council

Rob Moffatt is the new representative of Latrobe City Council's Morwell River Ward, after a by-election was held to fill an extraordinary vacancy.

Mr Moffatt was among 5 candidates standing for the by-election and will represent Morwell River Ward on Latrobe City Council until the next council general election in October 2028.

Election Manager Janette Gibson declared the result at 10:30 am on Thursday 13 August at Kernot Hall 50-70 Princes Drive, Morwell.

The extraordinary vacancy happened due to the resignation of Councillor Tracie Lund.
