Early voting opens this week for Mulgrave District by-election

Early voting opens this Wednesday 8 November for the Mulgrave District by-election, with voters encouraged to have their say on who will represent them in the Victorian Parliament.

The early voting centres are located at:

  1. Suite G.02 (Ground Floor), 745 Springvale Road Mulgrave VIC 3170 (IWA – Independent wheelchair access)
  2. 1/245-255 Browns Road, Noble Park North VIC 3174 (IWA – Independent wheelchair access)

Election day voting centres will be open from 8 am to 6 pm on election day, Saturday 18 November.

Postal vote applications are currently open and close at 6 pm on Wednesday 15 November. Voters who have applied for a postal vote must have their completed ballot papers in the mail before 6 pm on election day or hand-deliver them to any voting centre in Mulgrave District before the close of voting.

Voters who are blind, have low vision, or have a physical disability and can’t vote without assistance, will be able to vote by telephone. Telephone voting opens at 9 am on Wednesday 8 November and closes at 6 pm on Saturday 18 November. To register, call 131 832. Voting by telephone is secret and secure.

Voting is compulsory for all electors who were on the roll for Mulgrave District at the close of roll at 8 pm on Monday 30 October.
