Candidates announced for Kingston City Council postal by-election

Thirteen candidates have nominated in the Kingston City Council, Melaleuca Ward postal by election.

The candidates, in ballot paper order, are:

DAVIES, Hayden
NOLAN, Gavin
BAKER, David
PAYNTER, Brian
BUFALO, Nicholas

MCDONALD, Lachlan

Candidate statements and information will be available at vec.vic.gov.au later this week.

The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) will send ballot packs to all voters who were correctly enrolled for Melaleuca Ward by the close of roll. Voting closes at 6 pm on Friday 31 July.

Election Manager Sally Joy advised voters to vote as soon as possible.

'Post or hand deliver your completed ballot pack by the deadline to make your vote count,' Ms Joy said.

'Voting closes at 6 pm on Friday 31 July, but our advice is to not leave it to the last minute.'
