New councillor for Moonee Valley City Council

Jessica O’Neil has been elected as a councillor for Buckley Ward on Moonee Valley City Council, after the Victorian Electoral Commission conducted a countback of votes from the October 2020 general election on Monday 29 April.

The election manager, Kathy Georgiou, declared the result at 1 pm today.

The countback included unsuccessful candidates who were still eligible for election.

The vacancy on Moonee Valley City Council occurred after the resignation of Councillor Cam Nation.
